This Saturday, 17 May 2014, The Great Stupa of Universal Compassion will be hosting a Festival of Light.

The Vesak Festival of Light is a  multicultural festival marking the celebration of Vesak inspired by the Buddha’s birthday.

The highlight of the night will be a sound and light show combined with fireworks at 7pm.

The event will include Great Stupa tours, a meditation program , beautiful display of lanterns , variety of workshops, music and dance acts starting from 12pm. For more details head the webpage: The Great Stupa of Universal Compassion.
